What's been happening at MORE Physical Therapy? Here are some of the notable events and milestones we want to share with our patients.
 

  • January, 2013. Our central San Jose clinic joins our clinic in Burlingame as locations providing patients with access to the Alter G, the revolutionary partial-weight-bearing treadmill.
     
  • January, 2013. Angie Traverso, PT, DPT, starts off the new year as the newest staff therapist at our central San Jose location.
     
  • December, 2012. MORE welcomes Pooja Chokshi, DPT our newest staff therapist at our Vaden Student Health Center Stanford location.
     
  • September, 2012. Our Burlingame clinic is proud to offer access to the Alter G Anti-Gravity treadmill for patients recovering from lower extremity surgery or injury. The Alter G uses differential air pressure technology to provide comfortable partial weight bearing.
     
  • September 4, 2012. Our new clinic in Burlingame opens its doors for the first time.
     
  • May, 2012. MORE welcomes Hilary Genise, PT, DPT, to our central San Jose and Almaden Valley clinics.
     
  • January, 2012. MORE welcomes Jaci Lee, DPT, to our San Jose clinics on the Alameda and at Club One Silver Creek.
     
  • January, 2012. Kelly Deala, MPT, CSCS, earns her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification. Congratulations, Kelly!
     
  • November, 2011. MORE Welcomes Kate Scott, MSPT, to our Alameda clinic.
     
  • September, 2011. Breanne Pernosky, PTA, joins MORE at our Alameda clinic.
     
  • July 26, 2011. Nathaniel Cohen, MD, presented a lecture on shoulder injuries in the overhead athlete to MORE staff and the public at our central San Jose clinic.
     
  • June 2011. MORE Welcomes new employee Stephanie Adams, DPT.
     
  • March 2011. MORE Welcomes new employee Kelly Delea, MPT.
     
  • February 2011. MORE Welcomes Ashwini Velankar, MPT to our central San Jose location.
     
  • November 2010. MORE welcomes Katie Williams, PTA to our central San Jose clinic.
     
  • October 2010. We are pleased to announce that Casey Olson, MPT, FAAOMPT, CSCS, has become a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and is now the Clinical Director of our Silver Creek Facility.
     
  • September 2010. Congratulations to former aide Stephanie Nicholson, who returns to MORE as a Physical Therapist Assistant!
     
  • September 2010. We are pleased to announce the opening of our newest clinic on September 7, 2010, at Vaden Health Center, Stanford University, where we will be providing physical therapy services exclusively to Stanford students.
     
  • June through August 2010. MORE provides athletic training services to the United States Synchronized Swim Team while the team spends its summer training in California.
     
  • February 2010. Ron Kaminski earns Level 2 certification from Titleist Performance Institute.
     
  • April 2009. MORE welcomes Cher Kooiman, MPT to our team! Cher is at our central San Jose clinic on The Alameda.
     
  • October 22, 2008. MORE conducts an injury prevention seminar at West Coast Aquatics.
     
  • August 2008. MORE provides injury prevention education to lacrosse players at the new BoxLa indoor lacrosse club at the Silver Creek Sportsplex.
     
  • June 1, 2008. MORE celebrates 20 years of success!
     
  • March, 2008. March 2008 MORE is the official physical therapy and athletic training provider of the USA Gymnastics Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, a precursor to the Olympic Games.
